Sketch Cards Copic

Some copic sketches I was messing about with. Done on "Make it Color" blending card. I then cut them down to a trading card size 2.5 x 3.5.
I used a template from Comic Book Graphic Design.
Disclaimer: I'm new to copics and still in the early experimenting stages. I find that scanning the finished sketches doesn't do them justice.

More experimenting with Copic Markers.
I did this on a tiny piece of watercolour paper (6cm x 6cm). I messed up the shadowing on the neck.
Apparently it is not recommended to use watercolour paper because it soaks up too much ink making the markers run out quicker. The results are a lot nicer than the other card and paper I have been using.
I managed to find a website that sells card stock that seems to be a favourite among copic marker users (on this side of the Atlantic). I should have it late next week, so we might see some sort of improvement.
All the card or paper that is recommended on the internet seems to be only available in the US. And the stores that I can find online either don't ship outside the US or charge ridiculous money for postage. Even ordering from the UK, I have to debate with myself if it will be worth it.
If there are art shops in Ireland (or other shops in the UK) that do supply the paper recommended for copic markers, they need to sort themselves out and be more visible on the internet!
I'm missing days (again) due to working on props for a school play.

Part of the "30 day drawing challenge" I found on Deviant Art.
Today's theme was "Something from your childhood."
Bosco was a children's TV show that ran from 1978-1987. It continued to be shown until 1996.

Q: "Joe, what happened to Day 9?"
Ah, yes. I'm slipping a little with these daily pictures (as I expected, but it's still inexcusable as a personal challenge). Day 9's challenge was "Any form of Transport." Instead, I was out practising my driving. Close enough, right?
I still had time to draw, but didn't. I might still come back to it and upload a picture if I'm happy with it.

Part of the "30 day drawing challenge" I found on Deviant Art.
Today's theme was "Draw your star sign."
My star sign is Leo... so you might see where I was going with this.
I was having a difficult time trying to draw a lion. So I decided to draw a quick picture of Lion-O to experiment a bit more with the copic markers (I'm still bad and still using rubbish paper).
