Inktober 2016: Day 22

Day22:
"私は、あなたがより強い剣にこれを精密につくることを必要とする。"
said the hooded stranger in robotic, dreadfully translated Japanese.

"それは、古代であることに見える!私は、私がこれによって何かをすることができるかを知らない。"
said the swordsmith.

The hooded stranger didn’t respond. He had spent hours memorising just the request. He had hoped to avoid a conversation.

The swordsmith could see the confusion on the stranger’s face.
“I will… try…”

______

As I'm posting this, I'm kinda regretting adding this to the story and I'm thinking of ignoring it from the canon.
I just wanted an excuse or opportunity to change the sword into a Katana or something better than the bronze age sword from the previous story.
As I was researching Japanese swordsmiths, I came across a photo of an elderly couple in South Korea that make the swords together. I regret not adding that kind of personality or characters to this image.
